How to savor life's little moments - an Infinum Evenings event
Written by Team MyndStories

How many times have you felt frazzled by the demands of life? Numerous, right?

We all go through microstresses through the day – small moments of stress caused by mundane events or tasks. That email asking if the presentation is ready. Dropping kids to school on time. Thinking what to do for dinner.

The best way to combat these stressful events is to focus on the present and savoring each moment for what it is. How do we do that?

Ragini Rao, Psychotherapist and Transactional Analyst and Krithika Akkaraju, Counsellor and Psychotherapist, tell us how in this free workshop organized by InfinumGrowth. In this workshop, you’ll learn

  1. How to increase awareness and recognize the functioning of your nervous system to avoid shutting down
  2. How to use this awareness and create more engaging, socially connected moments in our life
  3. Understand and explore the concept of ‘savoring’ in detail and build a consistent practice

This workshop will explore ways in which you can set up a ‘savoring strategy’ for your day to day life using snapshots, nature, art, music, movement, breathing and being able to identify ‘glimmers’ (micro moments of ‘safety’).
